William P. Mergo

WILLIAM P. MERGO, age 90, a 60 year resident of Saddle Brook, NJ passed away on June 6, 2022. Beloved Husband of the late Pauline Mergo (nee Kalinyak). William is survived by his son William Mergo,  nieces Cheryl Mergo, Diane Mergo Foreman and her family and Helena Yuhas, his nephew Robert Takacs and his wife Janet and his brother-in-law Rev. Robert Takacs. He is predeceased by his brother Dennis Mergo. 

William was born in Plymouth, Pa. He is a US Army Vet  and a 60 year parishioner of Saint Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Passaic NJ.  He attended Girard College for both grade and high school. He was a graduate of  Wilkes College and received his MBA from Fairleigh  Dickinson University. He spent numerous years as an accountant for Curtis Wright  and later years as an Accounting Manager for Universal MFG Corp. in Paramus, NJ.

Services from Kugler Community Home For Funerals, 311 Fifth St. Saddle Brook, NJ. Viewing on Friday June 10, 2022  from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services on Saturday June 11, 2022 at Saint Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 200 3rd ST in Passaic at 10AM. Interment in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Saddle Brook NJ.
