Thomas K. Viele

THOMAS K. VIELE, age 90, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and proud United States Navy veteran and resident of Franklin, NJ passed on April 26, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.

Thomas was the beloved husband of Carol, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and devotion. A loving and dedicated father, he is survived by his daughter, Janice Noto and her husband Gabriel, of Sarasota, Florida and his son, Thomas Viele and his wife Maryann, of Saddle Brook, NJ.

He was a very proud and loving grandfather to Andrew Kosco and his wife Kathy of Hamburg, NJ, Daniel Kosco and his wife Samantha of Netcong, NJ, and Thomas Viele of Saddle Brook, NJ. His legacy continues through his cherished great-granddaughters Aria and Penelope, who brought him immense joy.

Thomas honorably served his country as a member of the United States Navy, a role he carried with pride throughout his life. Known for his quick sense of humor, he brought laughter to all those around him. He found great joy in the game of golf once he retired from NJ Transit after 37 years of loyal service.

Thomas will be always remembered for his deep love of family, his strength, his humor, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.

Funeral services by Kugler Funeral Home 311 5th Street Saddle Brook, NJ. Visiting hours on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 2 to 5pm. Private cremation to follow.
