Sandra Lee Sandor

Sandra Lee Sandor, née Nappi, age 86, formerly of Carteret, New Jersey passed peacefully with her family by her side on October 8, 2026. Sandra was born in Jersey City, grew up in Bayonne and raised her family in Carteret. Sandra worked as a secretary at Esso prior to becoming a full-time homemaker and raising her three children. She was a proud member of the Carteret Women’s Club and an active member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed working at the church bazaar and frying zeppoles, just like her mother.

Sandra is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth J. Sandor Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Sandor Tages and her husband, Jose, her son Kenneth J. Sandor Jr. and his wife Donna, and her son John M. Sandor and his wife Deborah. Sandra is also survived by her grandchildren, Allison, Melissa, Kenny, Jessica, Renee, Joseph, Samantha and Rachel. She is also a beloved great-grandmother to Hudson, Remi, Noelle and Maverick.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 13 at 9:30 am at St. Mark’s Church in Sea Girt, New Jersey. Interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth. Sandra will forever be remembered for her quick wit, generous heart and devotion to her family. May perpetual light shine upon her and may she rest in eternal peace.
