RUTH ANN VERILE (nee Caffrey), 78, of Saddle Brook, passed away on December 23, 2022. Born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, she settled in Saddle Brook in 1983. Before retiring, she was an Executive Assistant in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ruth is pre-deceased by her mother Lillian Caffrey who passed away in 1996. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Louis Verile. Devoted mother of Louis Verile Jr. and wife Melissa and Mark Verile and his wife Stephanie. Loving grandmother of Natalie Verile and Jessica Verile. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Ruth had a zest for life and a love of storytelling about times from her early life. Were they all true stories? Who knows? She celebrated her Irish heritage with a love of spirits and wine. She also loved her many trips to casinos in NJ, PA, and Las Vegas where she played poker machines for hours on end. She enjoyed many summer vacations in Wildwood with her husband and sons in their younger years, and then again with her granddaughters in her later years. At family gatherings she was almost always the most entertaining person in the room.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation services on Tuesday, December 27th from 4:30pm until 8:30pm at Kugler Funeral Home, 311 N 5th St, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663.
