Mary Immaculate Maniscalco

MARY IMMACULATE MANISCALCO, age 77, of Clifton, NJ passed away on August 27, 2022. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Saverio œSam Maniscalco.  She is the loving mother of Angela, Andreana, and James.  She is the adored grandmother of Joseph, Michael, John Michael and Samantha. She is the treasured mother in law of John and Monica and the esteemed future mother in law of Richard.  She is survived by her niece, Diane and predeceased by her parents Joseph and Anna, and her beloved brother, Joseph.
Mary was born on February 20, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY where she lived for 45 years.  After several moves over the years she eventually settled down in Clifton, NJ where she lived for three years.  She was happy to be closer to her daughter, Andreana and her son, James, their respective families and enjoyed taking part in Sunday dinners.
Mary grew up in Brooklyn, NY and enjoyed spending her summers in Pine Bush, NY.  She enjoyed the outdoors and walking around barefoot in the cool grass.  She worked at Cuccios Bakery in Brooklyn for many years and then spent the rest of her adult life working in retail.  She enjoyed watching old Westerns and TV shows like Wheel of Fortune, Blue Bloods, Little House on the Prairie, and Dancing with the Stars. She enjoyed doing her word searches while sipping her cup of coffee. Her favorite pastime was to try her luck at scratch off Lotto tickets, tending to her garden and spending time with her group of friends.
A celebration of her life will be from Kugler Community Home for Funerals, 311 Fifth Street Saddle Brook, NJ.  Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 5-9PM. Private cremation afterwards.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the St. Joseph's Health Foundation/ICU Nurses in memory of Mary of Maniscalco. Envelopes for any donations will be provided at the funeral home.
