Lily Fernandez

Lily Fernandez passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024 at the age of 106. 

Born in LaPaz, Bolivia on May 25, 1918, Lily spent a majority of her life there. She was educated at the American Institute where she learned the English language which she remembered all these years. She was not a fluid English speaker, but she made sure you understood what she was saying often by writing in English.

In Bolivia, Lily was a homemaker for many years before helping her father with his jewelry business. At 80 years old, she came to the United States to be close to her family here. Lily enjoyed painting and was a faithful Catholic. She had a sweet tooth and never passed up cake and pastries.

There will be a private mass held for immediate family. Those wishing to honor Lily’s life can do so by making a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
