It is with sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of John
D’Alessandro, age 97. John was a beloved husband, father, dear grandfather, and great-grandfather who died peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026. John was a steady, strong, and loving man who dedicated his
life to his family. Friends defined him as caring, hard-working, and full of energy.
John was born in New York City, the son of Vito Nicolo and Antoinette (nee Mastandrea). He was a U.S.Army Veteran of the Korean War.
John is survived by his beloved wife Anne (nee Livringhouse) who he was married to for 71 years and together they have 5 children: Linda, Garrett, Dennis, Glenn, and John Michael; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
John loved participating in each of his children’s lives, as well as in the activities of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, in a way that deeply impacted each of them. All his family looked up to John as the patriarch and the person happily willing to show his love
and caring.
John loved cooking at the family dinners and went to great lengths to make sure the family was at the center of our lives.
