Iryna Ivanova Katsalis

Iryna Ivanova Katsalis, 44, of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, surrounded by love.

Born on February 18, 1981, in Belarus, Iryna was the cherished daughter of Galina and Alexander Ivanov and the beloved sister of Kirill. A devoted wife to George and a loving mother to her 3-year-old son, Antonios, Iryna’s greatest joy in life was her family.

Iryna dedicated her career to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at Valley Hospital, where her compassion, professionalism, and warmth touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues.

She loved to travel, spend time with her close friends, and share every precious moment with her husband and son. At home, she filled every space with laughter, love, and the comforting scent of her wonderful cooking. She was radiant, strong, and full of life — beautiful in every way that mattered.

Iryna will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, her humor, and the light she brought to everyone who knew her. Though her time with us was far too short, her love will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Funeral services will be at Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church 474 Outwater Lane Garfield, NJ on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 beginning at 11am. Burial to immediately follow in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
