September 3, 1954 — July 22, 2025

Saddle Brook, NJ

Ellen Frances Jeseseke-Woolsey, 70, lifelong resident of Saddle Brook passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Born in Passaic NJ, Ellen was the beloved daughter of the late Frank (Jessie) and Helen (Kandravy) Jeseseke of Saddle Brook. Ellen is survived by her cousins Marjorie Jennings and her husband Edward, William Csejka and his wife Patricia, Brian Jennings and his wife Meghan, and their son Jackson, Kimberly Jennings and numerous lifelong friends and neighbors. Ellen is predeceased by her loving husband Russell St. Clair Woolsey, Jr. and her dear sister Eileen Marsha Jeseseke on August 11, 2025. Ellen was a graduate of Saddle Brook High School and went on to attend William Paterson College graduating with multiple degrees in Art Education, Computer Graphics and Computer Science. After graduating, she took on a position as a PC Network/Graphics Manager at Christian Salvesen in Secaucus, and later started her own graphics design business, Presentations Plus. At that time, Ellen met and married the love of her life, Russell St. Clair Woolsey Jr. on August 1, 1991. Russell was also a graduate of William Paterson College and employed by Bergen Brunswig Drug Company in Pine Brook as a Contact Administrator. The happy couple quickly settled into married life and enjoyed the best years of their life as husband and wife. They were happily married for 16 years before his passing after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 55, in 2007. Prior to her retirement, Ellen worked as a marketing and Website Administrator for Water-Jel Technologies in Carlstadt. Although she accelerated and enjoyed her career, nothing could surpass the love that she had for her family. This was evident in the many years spent as a caregiver to her father, mother and husband during their illnesses. However, although she lovingly embraced her role as caregiver to each member of her family, her heart and soul was devoted to her beloved sister, Eileen. This role as a dedicated and lifelong. caregiver to her sister was one she never wavered from up until her own passing. Ellen’s devotion to her family will truly be admired by all who knew and loved her.
