Edith Marion Sutera (nee Ferguson), age 101, of Saddle Brook, NJ passed peacefully at home in Saddle Brook. Edith was born of the late Charles and Matilda Ferguson in Bordentown, NJ and lived in Saddle Brook since 1954. Edith previously worked as a Seamstress making dresses for Botany Mills in Passaic, NJ and later became a volunteer at Franklin Public School in Saddle Brook assisting with student activities and reading classes. Edith was an avid reader of books, especially mystery type books. Edith was also a former member of the Saddle Brook Seniors Club.
Edith is beloved wife of the late Charles J. Sutera (April 2, 2019).
Edith is survived by her Son Anthony Sutera, her daughter-n-law Kathy Sutera, her grandsons Charles (Chuckie) S. Sutera and Richard Sutera (and his wife Jennifer), and Great-Grandchildren Dylan and Brooke Sutera. Edith is pre-deceased by her sons Charles J. Sutera Jr (and his late wife Ruthie), and Brian Sutera, and her Grandson Christopher Sutera.
Funeral services from Kugler Funeral Home 311 Fifth Street Saddle Brook, NJ. Visiting hours on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 11am to 1pm, with prayer services to begin at 1pm at funeral home. Burial immediately afterwards in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
