DIANE ROSE VONSEE - Beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, partner and friend to many, Diana passed away on February 2nd, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Diana was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by leading with love, kindness, and seeing the positive in each and every day.
Diana was born on July 14th, 1957 in Columbus, GA. As a child, she enjoyed nothing more than playing with her friends outside in the courtyard where she was raised in Elmwood Park, NJ. As she got older, Diana found her passion as a hair stylist where she would later become the manager at Great Clips salon where all of her clients enjoyed coming in to see her.
Diana was undeniably the most caring, loving and supportive daughter and mother there ever was. Even more so, she absolutely loved her role as Nana. She cherished her mother, daughters and her grandchildren with all her heart and never missed an opportunity to show them just that.
Diana will always be known as the life of the party. She lit up any room she walked into. When she wasnt around, it was noticed. She loved going out to dinner with friends and was always the first person on the dance floor. With a love for fashion, she was always dressed to impress from head to toe. She also enjoyed making beautiful jewelry in her free time. She had a set to match every outfit! She genuinely loved life and the mark she left on others will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Zwerin and brother, Robert Zwerin. Survivors include her mother, Gerda Sirbono; daughters Dawn McCoy (Keiyon) and Amanda Ross (Travis); partner, Chris DeLouise; step mother, Pat Zwerin; grandchildren, Erin, Mia, KJ, Carter, Kendrick, Noah, Hunter and Savannah; two brothers Alan Zwerin (Andreia) and Michael Zwerin; nieces, nephews and countless friends.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 10am-12pm on Sunday, February 26th, 2023 at Kugler Funeral Home in Saddle Brook, NJ.
Diana was compassionate and always saw the light and goodness in people when nobody else could and was known for being the first to offer help to those in need. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the following charities on her behalf:
