Daniel David Romaine

DANIEL DAVID ROMAINE, of Stanhope NJ,  unexpectedly passed away on September 25, 2020 after a brief illness. Dan was an extremely talented man which he expressed through his love of his work for others and most importantly, through his love of creation for his family. Creating projects with and for his daughter Danielle, to creating sets for theater and his cousin Michael at Lenape Valley High School. He enjoyed the NJ Devils, his black coffee and his pets Vinnie and Kit Kit. 
Dan grew up in Mt. Olive and has spent the last 33 years in Stanhope, NJ. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and also spent 7 years in the Army National Guard. 
Beloved husband of 33 years to Theresa Romaine (nee Deacon). Loving father to Danielle Romaine and Matthew Romaine and his wife Abby. Dear Grandfather to Kayla and Jonas Romaine. Dan also leaves behind his sister Sandra, brother-in-law Mickey and his wife Janice, nephew Justin as well as many other family members and good friends. 
Private services from Kugler Community Home For Funerals, Saddle Brook NJ.  A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 2-5pm at the William J. Hocking American Legion Post 91 at 99 North Main St. Wharton, NJ.
