Cira Scozzari, age 94, of Saddle Brook passed on October 14th, 2024. Born January 12, 1930 in Marineo, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Ciro Spinella and Maria Spinella (nee D'Averde), and sister to Joseph Spinella, who predeceases her. Cira worked as a seamstress, sewing uniforms for the Paterson Police Department and was married to her beloved husband, the late Salvatore (Sam) Scozzari for 58 ½ years. She enjoyed sewing and making her children’s clothes when they were growing up. She loved cooking, making her own Sicilian style pizza, making various soups, baking various types of cookies and spending time with family and friends. Cira is survived by her beloved four children and spouses; Ronald and Margaret Scozzari, Glenn and Teresa Scozzari, Daniel and Linda Scozzari, Rose and Mike Brown, two grandchildren; Nina and Sophia, and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral and visitation for Cira Scozzari will be held on Friday, October 18th, 2024 from 10AM to 12PM at Kugler Community Home for Funerals, 311 Fifth Street Saddle Brook, NJ. Entombment to follow in Calvary Cemetery, 58 Mclean Blvd, Paterson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
