Byunghee Kwon

BYUNGHEE KWON, age 97, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021. Byunghee was born on June 30, 1923 and lived in Jersey City for the past 30 years. Byunghee is survived by her beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Byunghee dedicated her life to raising her family. She raised five children in South Korea then upended her life and moved to the United States in the early 1990s to raise one of her grandchildren. Oftentimes, her own life was not easy, so Byunghee found it important to make the lives of those around her better. 
She loved to tend to her plants, knit and eat sushi, ramen and fried chicken. But, her true passion and unparalleled devotion was to family and serving the Lord.
