Angelo J. Cataldoa

ANGELO J. CATALDOA of Oakland, N.J., (son of Angelo T. and Jennie Cataldo) passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Oakland for the last forty years. Angelo began his career as a Sheriffs Officer then worked his way up to the Bergen County Superior Court and eventually to Chief Case Manager, Civil Division in the N.J. Judiciary. Angelo received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Public Administration/Social Sciences, both at William Paterson College. He was admitted to Pi Lambda Theta, National Honor and Professional Association in Education, and Alpha Kappa Delta, International Sociology Honor Society. Angelo was a proud member of the U.S. Coast Guard. During vacations he traveled to many countries with his wife, specifically Italy, where he developed a passion for Italian wines which culminated in his writing a well-received book on the wines of different regions.

Angelo leaves behind his devoted wife Cecilia of sixty-two years; his loving sister Monica Fuchs of Hasbrouck Heights; his 2 adored nephews, David and Steven Grieco; his loving sister-in-law Rita Bennett and brother-in-law Roy of Hampshire, UK, and many dear friends. He is predeceased in life by his brother in law, Joseph E. Fuchs.

Services from Kugler Community Home For Funerals, Saddle Brook NJ. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 4-7pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 10am. Interment in Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack NJ.
